Olivia Margaret Rose (Gillis) DeCarlo

On July 7, 2021 Olivia Margaret Rose DeCarlo (nee Gillis) devoted mother of Louis  Hansen, Brenda Makowski and her husband Casimir, Teresa Barrett and her husband William and Rachael  DeCarlo and her partner Jackie; dear sister of Sue, Sharon, Patricia and James Gillis and the late Kenneth Gillis, Jr.; loving grandmother of Ashley “Plum” Rawlins and her husband Trent, Cassie Shea and her husband Michael, Kaylyn Greco and Krista and Karley  Barrett; great grandmother of Angelo Sanchez, Mason Greco, Thatcher and Abel Hogan, Brandon Engel, Luciano and Amari Colon and Kilian and Olivia Shea. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

Olivia Margaret Rose DeCarlo passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones and is now dancing on the streets of Heaven enjoying endless amounts of ice cubes, bread, coffee, and vanilla ice cream. Olivia’s sense of humor and feistiness increased with her years. One of her favorite sayings was “what do you want, egg in your beer?!!”. She was a devoted and caring mother and grandmother who made sure that she was always there for her grandchildren. She loved the Lord, dogs, praying for others, Italian food, and staying up late watching scary movies. Livvy’s fierce sense of independence, authenticity, and generous love will never be forgotten.
