On January 27, 2024 Maurice Eugene Jones, Jr. beloved husband of the late Juanita J. Jones (nee Cobb); devoted father of Cindy L. Tydings and her husband Ronald, Wayne R. Jones, John J. Jones and his wife Donna and James E. Jones; dear brother of Dolores Sprouse and her husband Elwood and John Jones and his wife Joyce; loving grandfather of Brandon Jones and his companion Faith Osborne, Amanda Jones and her fiance Dillon Carver and Matthew Tydings. Also survived by other loving family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 3620 Red Rose Farm Road on Friday at 10am. Visiting hours on Thursday 3 to 5 and 7-9pm. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation. (see link below)
