On March 9, 2024 Manuel Dixon Holmes devoted father of Ethel "Deanna " Walters and her husband Dan, Idella Amberman and her husband Richard, Donald Holmes and his wife Linda, Randall, Ronnie and Larry Holmes and the late Emanuel "Dicky" Holmes, Jr.; loving grandfather of Stacey Walters, Danny Walters, Jr., Shane, Shawn and Ashley Holmes, Larry Holmes, Jr., Justine Whitacre, Troy Amberman and his wife Cheryl and Travis Amberman and his wife Natalie; great grandfather of Cole, Mack, Sarah, Hanna, Gavin, Gage and Kenzie Holmes, Addison and Ryan Amberman and Juliette Whitacre. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Emanuel is predeceased by many brothers and sisters.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
