On May 22, 2025 John "Jack" Joseph Howell, Sr. beloved husband of the late Etta Marie Howell (nee Peters); devoted father of John J. Howell, Jr. and his wife Kathleen, Lisa M. Howell and her companion William Mizell, Heather L. Weatherstein and her husband Mike and Ryan K. Howell; dear brother of Darlene Folk, Noreen Clark, Jeffrey Howell and the late Dillard Howell, Jr. and Albert Howell, Sr.; loving grandfather of Payton and Edward Mizell, Angel Howell, John J. Howell III and Jacklynn Howell. Also survived by other loving family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
