James "Jim" G. Bishop

On September 27, 2023 James "Jim” G. Bishop passed away at his home in Wilson Point, MD. 

Jim was a joyous spirit and beloved throughout his community. He was an avid fan of the Baltimore Ravens and the Baltimore Orioles, a lover of vintage American muscle cars, enjoyed golfing with family and friends, and cherished taking his grandchildren boating. Jim had an infectious smile and a laugh that will truly be missed.

Jim is survived by his children Jennifer and Alan Lynch, Jessica and David Ortenzio, and Jonathan Galarraga; his siblings Denise Rhea, Carl Bishop, Anita Choban, Victoria Collins and Tammy Collins-Levi; his grandchildren Milan, Sofia, Ellie and Baby O; and many other loving family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at the Gunpowder VFW Post 10067, 6309 Ebenezer Road, Middle River, MD 21220 on Sundat, October 15th at 4pm. In lieu of flowers. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Wounded Warrior Project. Please see link below.
