Son of Harry and Frieda Crist, brother of Richard Crist, Joyce Glovier, Dennis Crist and Denise Dignazzio.
Married to Patricia Ann Novak, father of Paige Oliveira, Stephanie Wacker, Diane Crist and Jeffrey Crist; grandfather to Cathleen Teal, Melvin Teal, Brandon Crist, Colin Van Atta, Breanne Crist and Jessica Crist; great grandfather of Kailyn Root, Kailli Rosinsky, Beau Zamenski, Asia Hammer, Alana Brooks, Brandon Crist, Jr. and Jayce Teal.
He lived in Highlandtown his whole life, graduated from Patterson High, joined the Army and spent his time in Germany and Italy even met the Pope. He worked at Bethlehem Steel for many years and retired. He enjoyed doing crosswords puzzles in the Sun Paper every morning, going fishing out at Loch Raven Reservoir and Fort Howard Park. He was a baseball coach for Loch Raven Little League who took his team to first place. He would always go to Oakleigh Tavern on Tuesdays to reunite with his buddies for a drink. He had a stroke and lived to the rightful age of 90.
