George W. Koehler, age 74 passed away peacefully on Monday, March 1, 2021 at his home in Bowleys Quarters. George was a supervisor at C & P Telephone Company (AKA) Verizon from which he retired and started living the simple life. George truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and neighbors, making coffee at the local Royal Farm Store, and teaching his grandchildren how to fish off the pier. George was such an animal lover and always believed in rescue adoptions.His heart was as big as his smile and was always making jokes or kidding around with someone. His family and grandchildren were his whole life and loved them to the moon and back. His hobbies were restoring old cars, boating and fishing.
George is preceeded in death by Ruth Koehler (mom), Nancy Crane (sister), and Fred Koehler (brother). He is survived by his son Bryan Koehler and his wife Courtney, daughter Jessica Koehler, daughter Tiffany Koehler Kaelin, granddaughter Jaelynn Allen, grandson Camden Koehler, significant other Kimberly Cherry-Prestianni. Also survived by grandchildren Maddy Lunner, and Savannah Wagner and many other friends and family. George will be deeply missed by his family , friends and all that knew him.
Funeral services private. A celebration of life will be held at the Crescent Yacht Club,1840 Cape May Road on Saturday, March 27 noon to 4pm . In lieu of flowers. Donations can be made for his grandchildren Maddy, Jaelynn and Camden's college fund. https://gofund.me/758e77c1
