On August 20, 2020 Edith "Edie" Marie Kahl beloved sister of Richard W. Kahl, Sr. and his wife Carol, Eugene D. Kahl and his wife Diana, Bruce D. Kahl and his wife Bonnie and Jacqueline A. Kahl and her partner Rachael; devoted aunt of Richard Kahl, Jr. and his wife Tammy, Jeremy Kahl and his wife Audra, Amy Hall and her husband Thomas, Jennifer Blackshear and her husband Cameron, Brandon Kahl and Melissa Dietz and her husband Kyle; great aunt of Ashley Kahl, Danielle Smith and her husband Michael, Nicholas Clark, Kyle Kahl, Jo Dee Clark, Emiley Kahl, James Kahl, Adan Hall, Benjamin Hall, Isabella and Annabella Blackshear and Charles Hall; great great aunt of Emory Smith. Also survived by other loving family members and dear friends.

Edie died unexpectedly at Gilchrist Hospice Center. She was born April 8, 1956 and lived on Loalan Avenue in Dundalk. She was a resident of Dundalk for over 45 years.  She is the daughter of her predeceased parents, Gordon W. and Margaret C. (Fischer) Kahl. Edie graduated from Dundalk High School and Dundalk Vocation/Technical School Class of 1975.  She was lifetime member of Our Lady of Hope Church, an avid bingo player and was a member of the Red Hat Club.

A service of remembrance for family and friends will be held on Sunday, September 13 at the Dundalk American Legion, post 38 from 12-pm-5 pm.
Those who wish to remember Edie in a special way may make gifts in her memory to the Gilchrist Hospice Center or Military Family Relief Fund Mid Atlantic.
