On August 8, 2025 Dorothy Laverna Hess (nee Rose) beloved wife of the late Norman G. Hess; devoted mother of Sharon M. Reed and Lorraine B. Gordon; cherished mother in law of the late Tracy Reed and John Gordon; dear sister of Beverly Gaudy, Robert Rhys and the late Margaret Longanecker; loving grandmother of Brian Reed and his wife Theresa, Jeremy Snyder and his wife Lisa and Megan Snyder and her husband Mark. Also survived by eight great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
