Dolores Jean “Peggy” Patrick (nee Potter) of Neon, Kentucky passed away in her home in Baltimore, Maryland on May 12, 2026 after a lengthy battle with metastatic cancer.
She is survived by her son, Lynn Patrick, Junior of Neon, Kentucky, his wife, Nancy Patrick (nee Yoash) of Hillsboro, Maryland, and their daughter, Shannon Patrick of Baltimore, Maryland. She is also survived by her sister, Phyllis Wright (nee Potter), her husband Jack Wright, and family of Neon, Kentucky, her brother-in-law, Michael Wissinger, of New Lexington, Ohio and his family, and her sister-in-law, Brenda Patrick (nee Kincer) of Baltimore, Maryland and her family.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lynn Patrick, his brothers, William Patrick, and Harold Hilton, his sister Bernice Toth (nee Patrick), and her parents, Mary & Jesse Potter, her brother, Melvin Potter, and her sister, Louise Wissinger (nee Potter).
Her friends and extended family are too many to mention. Peggy attended high school at Fleming-Neon High School before moving to Baltimore with her husband, and working as an operations technician while raising her family. She grew many roses and vegetables that were enjoyed by all who knew her. She was an avid reader and knower of all things. The family will receive guests from 6:00 - 7:00 PM local time at Letcher Funeral Home located at 102 Main Street in Whitesburg, Kentucky on Saturday, May 23.
