On March 23, 2026 Charles William Danforth, Jr. beloved husband of Carol A. Danforth; devoted father of Karen A. Cave and her husband Darrin, Deborah M. Shelton and her husband Ken and Charles W. Danforth III; loving grandfather of Michaela Jones (Angus Gibbs), Sarah Jones, Spencer Shelton (Maddy Ring), Samantha Shelton and her husband Cody Boteler. Also survived by nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday April 19, 2026 at the American Legion Post #22, Blue Room, 125 York Rd, Towson, MD 21204 at 12:00pm, lunch to follow.

 In lieu of flowers. Donations may be made to the Gilchrist Hospice or Michael J Fox Foundation which supports Parkinson’s Disease research.
