Carolyn Lee (Reedy) Ancuta

Carolyn (Carol) Lee Ancuta, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on August 2nd, 2026, at the age of 78. Born December 4th, 1947, in Richlands, Virginia to Carl Lee and Emma Jewel Reedy, Carol will be remembered for her strength and faith in her creator. Carol loved dancing from early childhood until the very end. She accomplished her dreams of writing and painting later in life. Carol is survived by her loving husband, Gigel Ancuta, daughter, Patricia Bither and son, Robert Beavers. Sisters Elizabeth Hafer and her husband Randall, Carla McClain and her husband William. Granddaughter Stephanie Penn and two great granddaughters Natalie and Brooke Penn. She was preceded in death by two sisters Brenda Cook and Freida Campbell and two brothers Carl Reedy Jr and Glenn Reedy. She was Aunt Carol to many nieces and nephews.
