Alan Curtis Haggerty

On June 22, 2025 Alan Curtis Haggerty devoted father of Crystal Pugh and her husband Kevin, Robert D. Flanagan, Jr. and the late Robert N. Smith III; dear brother of Dorothy Stinemetze, Carol Haggerty, Calvin Haggerty, Jr. Roger Haggerty, John Friedel, Nancy Friedel and the late Joann Marks, Beatrice Kert and Kevin Haggerty; Loving grandfather of Ethan L. Pugh, Robert N. Smith IV and Alyssa Koren-Trivett. Also survived by nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

To know Big Al was to love him. He was truly one of a kind — the best storyteller, an amazing soul with a heart full of wisdom, and the most AMAZING Poppy. Big Al had many many jobs and you can bet he was a foreman at most of them!  His favorite job and the one where he held the highest title was at being a Poppy.
