On December 30, 2025 Ada Lee Ridgley (nee Honeycutt) passed away. She is survived by her sons Destry and Nikki, grandson Julian, brother Larry and sister Anita.
She graduated from Dundalk High School then later graduated from Essex Community College with an A.A. Degree, Morgan State University with a Bachelors Degree and the University of Maryland with a Masters in Social Work. She worked at several places as a licensed social worker (LCSW) Adult Protective Services, Baltimore County Hospice and at an Adult Day Care.
She was a prolific writer and poet. She loved baking from scratch. Beside quilting for family and friends, making her own clothes when she was a teenager. She made our home a safe haven for everyone we knew.
Her love for people and animals will be missed. I would not have enough space to write all the lives of those she helped and showed love to. Time to rest now, until your Lord Jehovah calls you home.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
